Individualized Learning for Unique Learners

I am here to help your child succeed by tailoring my work with them in a way that recognizes their individual strengths and honors their specific needs.

As a youth librarian, my top goal has always been to surround children with a love of stories and of books. It is stories that unite us. The ability to better access those stories in many formats allows us to not only become stronger readers, but it allows us to build our learning foundations, our senses of empathy, our curiosity and thirst for knowledge, and our appreciation of the work of others. Working with students as a trained reading specialists has allowed me to expand on my goals to support readers and help to cultivate their innate abilities to read and write.

Games will be incorporated into my work with students as a way to ease tension, build trust, encourage goal setting, and add joy. Games also help students to successfully store learned concepts into their working memory.
